We collect or use the following information to provide services of dog walking, ensure the welfare of the owner’s dog and other dogs we are walking, enable us to respond to an emergency, to carry out a risk assessment to try and avoid or mitigate potential risks, comply with requests for information from government or regulatory bodies and ensure liability for any damage or harm caused by the dog to third parties or their dogs rests with the owner.

We collect or use the following information for service updates or marketing purposes:
· Recorded images, such as photos or videos of the owner’s dog.
We may also use the following information to comply with legal requirements (such as if a dog attacks a third party, another dog or causes damage to third party’s property we may legally be required to give this information to the police at their request):

How long we keep information
We will hold your personal information based on the following Criteria;
Your personal data will be kept for as long as you remain a client or where money is owed as long as it takes to pursue the funds should we wish to do so. After termination of our services to you it will be held for as long as someone could bring a claim against me and for no less than legal and regulatory requirements or guidance stipulates the retention period should be. If no claim is expected the records would normally be held for 6 years after termination of our services to you.

We take keeping your information safe very seriously. As such measures that I take to help you’re your data safe is as follows:
Suitable window locks and locks are held on the doors of the property to which the paperwork is held. An alarm system is installed in this property. I have no staff so no staff would receive access to the data. My computer hard drive and portable hard drive are both encrypted.
I use internet security anti-virus software which I regularly update. I also carry out full scans of my computer to detect any malware or viruses.
Your information will be stored within the UK and EEA only.
