About Bark and Walk
Our Story
Hi my name is Warren I founded Bark and Walk through my love of dogs. On meeting fellow dog owners at the park, you soon make friends and bonds. I offered to help a friend who had unpredictable work shifts with walking his dog when he had early starts. I found walking multiple dogs came naturally to me and I decided to give this a go professionally. I obtained a professional dog walking certification from Institute of Modern dog trainers (IMDT) and Bark and Walk was born. I am passionate about dogs and I am committed to providing them with the love and care they deserve.

I understand that your schedule can be unpredictable, so I offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs. Whether you need daily walks or walks one or two times a week, I've got you covered. I just ask you give me at least two days notice for any cancellations

I have completed accredited activity of Dog first aid emergency canine care covering First aid equipment, Vital signs, CPR, Seizures, bleeds, practical bandaging, Shock, Gastric Dilatation Volvulous, Burns and Scalds, Toxicity, heat stroke and choking. I want to ensure all dogs I walk have the best care in the event of a emergency. I carry a 1st aid kit with me on every walk.

Every dog is unique, and I evaluate their individual needs and personality to pair them with dogs based on their confidence /shyness, size, age, stamina and other consideration.

I have not just done a few 30 minute Webinars I am a fully certified professional dog walker where my knowledge has been assessed by the Institute of Modern dog trainers covering medication, allergies, body language, emergency planning introducing new dogs, risk assessments, exercise levels and much more. I achieved a score of 100% on my assessment
Meet and Greet
I require all new dogs to have a meet and greet to gauge their personality and how they will respond to other dogs so we can pair them with their perfect walking companions. Small and medium size dogs will not be paired with large dogs. The meet and greet is free.

I am open Monday through to Sunday from 8am to 5pm weekdays 10am to 2pm weekends.
Yes, I offer group walks for up to 4 dogs at a time.
Young puppies less than 6 months old do not need to be neutered or spayed but older dogs do. This is because other dogs in the group may react to older dogs that are not neutered or spayed. I will assess your dogs temperament during meet and greet to pair them with suitable dogs that they should get along with in a group walk.
